Through your professional life, you have encountered safety problems that have cost your company money and created injuries for your employees. You can get a certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals to apply knowledge about safety to prove that you know how to sustain reductions and follow regulatory measures.

At Performance Based Safety, we have helped many people to become certified safety professionals. In order to take the CSP exam, there are a number of things that you need to be knowledgeable about – and we can help you every step of the way.

The CSP exam is delivered to you on the computer. You will need to answer a total of 200 questions and will five and a half hours to do so.

In order to prepare for the exam, we can provide you with a private workshop. This will give you lectures, sample problems, and be able to hold discussions on the topics that will be covered. You will need to know about concepts of probability and statistics, safety and environmental engineering, fire protection and occupational health. You will also need to understand legal and regulatory affairs, workers’ compensation, applied management principles and rise management.

All of this can seem overwhelming, which is why we want you to know that you always have help. Our goal is to be sure you pass the exam – and if you are unprepared in any way, it will show when you sit down to take the 200 questions. You will have wasted give and a half hours of your time.

Even if you think you are knowledgeable about what the Board of Certified Safety Professionals deems as important for CSPs, you cannot prepare without some kind of workshop or seminar first. Some things will be a review for you as you have encountered them in the field and through your years of working in the industry. Other things may be completely new to you – and we can help to break them down in our private workshops that are offered.

Our workshop helps to prepare you for the exam in an intense way. The workshop will be broken out into four areas: communications, engineering, professional conduct/ethics, and management. At the end of the workshop, you will be ready to sit down and take the exam.

Once you have your certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, you can ensure that you are running a safe environment for your employees. You can also do some of your own consulting work within your company, allowing you to be an even more valuable asset than you already are.

With so many things to do within your career, you have to be sure you spend time in the right areas. If you don’t want to take the test again and again, let us help you with the preparations. We have helped many in the past and continue to offer the workshops so you can become well-educated in OH&S, regulations and more.
